Nurse Practitioners

Kay Mitchell

A Nurse Pracitioner is an experienced specialist nurse who is able to examine, diagnose and prescribe for some of the most common conditions in General Practice. They can also make referrals to hospital doctors & health care professionals and admit patients to hospital where necessary.

The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for our Diabetic Clinic.

Nurses

Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings. The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes, minor ailment clinics and carry out cervical smears.

Working alongside, supporting  our Prctice Nurses,  we have Treatment Room Nurses, Phlebotomist and a Health Care Assistant.
